Post Lincoln Financial announces a new addition to the House of David

The Falcons’ capable color man Dave Archer has signed on with Lincoln Financial to be part of the broadcast team for the regional SEC Game of the Week broadcasts. Archer replaces Dave Rowe. He’ll join Dave Neal and Dave Baker for the 12:30 broadcasts. This change is definitely an improvement.

    THANK GOD!

    I’ve been on a one-man mission for two years to oust Dave Rowe. He honestly is the worst color man ever. All of that “THIS IS GREAT PARTNER” and “YOU GOT THAT RIGHT BUDDY” and “BOY! WHAT A GREAT DAY FOR SOME FOOTBALL” crap was annoying as I don’t know what. Those broadcasts have been darn near unwatchable.

    While he may be an improvement, his attitude toward Georgia as displayed on “The Quarterback Club” will be interesting to hear.

    I don’t know what we did to him at LSU, but I hope he never gets over it.
