I think it’s great. Then, the Dawg defense will have all offseason to prep for that option attack. Hopefully then they will figure out how to play assignment defense at full speed. As inept as you think this coaching staff may be, I bet they could get a unit up to speed on how to correctly play the option over 8 months.

My understanding that that Tech didn’t want the GA dome because they knew they would loose the advantage of the home crowd. I would love this but would be shocked if GT would go for it.

I like playing Teechh late in the year to put the puntuation mark defeat on their annually crappy season.But if they want to get their ass-whoopin over with early,I guess that’s ok too.

Ever since I saw the first Chick-fil-A Kickoff game I’ve wanted UGA in it. It’s a great game to start the season that gets great press for the teams showcased there. Go Dawgs.

Not that it matters, but the only difference in ticketing will be how Georgia fans get those tickets. They don’t sell out their 50K seat stadium. No way Tech comes close to selling this out. It’ll be like a neutral game, at worse, for Georgia.

I actually would not mind it. When the game is played in Athens, I never seem to make it back from Thanksgiving in time to go. Besides, it would be nice remind Tech fans throughout the season who the better team is.
